The GRATING WORLD RAILEX® FRP Handrail System is of 50mm diameter round and 50mm square tube design, using internal fittings for all connections. Joints are bonded and mechanically fastened using either metallic or non-metallic hardware.
RAILEX® FRP Handrails are fabricated from Safety Yellow fiberglass pultrusions using a fire retardant resin with 50% glass content and a surface veil for protection against ultraviolet damage. RAILEX® FRP Handrails have a Class 1 fire retardance, with an ASTM E-84 flame spread rating of 25 or less.
